High-flying American Jordan Coleman has crossed to the Hume City Broncos for next year’s Big V state championship season.

Coleman, who has played with Keilor Thunder the past three years, is among the first signings announced by the Broncos this week.

In his time with the Thunder, Coleman averaged more than 20 points a game and six rebounds a game.

Also joining the Broncos, is Jake Martin, a dual Australian-American citizen who has been playing with the Goldfields Giants in the Western Australian State League competition.

Martin played with the Bulleen Boomers in the Big V division 1 competition in 2017, averaging 14 points and 11 rebounds a game.

The 198 centimetre power forward went through the college system in America, graduating in 2015.

Broncos coach Matt Foster said he was happy with the nucleus of the team he is building.

“Everyone who’s committed to date is not only a quality player, but a quality individual who is prepared to put the interests of the team ahead of individual plaudits.”

Lee Jeka, Shaun Prendergast and Anthony Scott are the only three players returning at this stage.
