Police are on the hunt for gun wielding thieves following an aggravated burglary in Keilor last month.

Investigators believe three unknown offenders, two of which were brandishing firearms, attended the Ailsa Street residence about 8.30pm on June 7.

The occupants were not home at the time.

The men gained entry to the garage before breaking into the house and stealing items which included jewellery, power tools and documents.

Police believe the offenders made off in two vehicles, possibly a green Holden SV6 sedan and a dark grey Holden SV6 station wagon, which were seen shortly after the incident travelling along Arabin Street.

CCTV of three men and their vehicles has been released and investigators believe those depicted will be able to assist with enquiries.

The first offender is described as being of a slim build, and was wearing a light coloured long sleeve shirt, light pants, a baseball cap with dark sticker on peak, and a face covering.

The second was perceived to be caucasian in appearance, of a heavy build and was wearing a black hoodie with a light jacket and light pants.

Offender three was perceived to be either caucasian or Pacific Islander in appearance with a heavy build.

He was wearing a light colour jumper and pants, light colour scarf over his head, and a surgical mask covering his face.

Anyone with information or who recognises the men or the vehicles is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
