Looking after children requires passion and dedication in truckloads and if there’s a code that VIP Family Day Care has operated by and applied in all 120 of its educators’ homes over the past 13 years, it’s being just that.

Manager Jason Buttigieg says VIP Family Day Care aims to make family day care an affordable and flexible option for all families in the Wyndham, Melton, Brimbank and Hobson’s Bay areas.

“We can accommodate all types of working families including shift workers and casual workers with options for out-of-hours and overnight care, respite care and casual care arrangements,” he says. “We cater for children from birth up to 12 years old.”

Jason explains there is the same obligation to care, educational programming and planning that a conventional day care centre would have, however, with smaller ratios VIP’s educators are able to develop a more personal relationship with the child and family, customising care to their needs.

VIP Family Day Care’s settings are education-focused, with a philosphy of “Learning through play”.

“We have a great team that works together to bring out the best in everyone,” Jason says.

“We work tirelessly to match up families with the right educator and also mentor educators to continually provide an exciting environment that children will learn in.”

All VIP educators hold child care qualifications, and many bring the experience and knowledge of a wide range of other industries.

Jason says that VIP management, staff and educators believe the atmosphere nurtures well-mannered and sociable children and this is what makes VIP care unique.

“VIP Family Day Care is run with family at its core. Everything that we do is done to put the child and family first,” Jason says.
