Daniel Stewart set up his own window tinting business nearly three years ago – and now he’s on track to being the most recommended independent tinter around. Before founding Melton Car Tint, he operated for 12 years under the Tint-A-Car banner, so he has a bunch of experience in the field.

Daniel says he became an independent operator because he believed he could deliver a superior and more personal service doing things his way.

He shares a story that backs that up.

“We once had a customer who went to a ‘cheap backyard’ tinter with poor results,” Daniel says.

“Three weeks later, when she came back to inspect our stripping and re-tinting job, she was ecstatic. Her words were: ‘This is what a tinted car is meant to look like.’ ”

Specialising in automotive and residential window tinting, Melton Car Tint is pleased to install quality film from the US – Johnson Window Films.

In stock are the popular Marathon 35%, which is the darkest legal film on the market, and Insulatir, a Nano Ceramic window film for the best infrared heat reduction and no interference in radio and SatNav signals. All films used are UPF 50+ with Cancer Council approval.

“We can tint anything, from old classic cars and hot rods to modern and exotic vehicles, right through to five-tonne trucks,” Daniel says.

“We also provide a lifetime warranty with all film products.

“Our master tinter, Joel Woods, has been tinting for 11 years and his experience shows in the quality of work he produces. We love the vehicle variety we see and meeting the challenges that come with them.”
