Storage King Hoppers Crossing has been kicking storage problems to the kerb for 13 years.
That sort of expertise is illustrated by the fact the company won two awards last year for merchandise sales, gongs that followed state and national awards of previous years.
“We’re a go-ahead facility,” says manager Kylie Willan. “Along with having an amazing team that’s been with us for up to 12 years, we have introduced many new options for our customers, staying on top of needs as they arise.”
One such option is the ParcelPoint Click + Collect service and Parcel King Courier Service, while the courier side of the business can handle parcels of up to 200 kilograms for delivery anywhere – and that’s above the weight that post offices can handle.
As people respond to the Marie Kondo call for decluttering, some may find they don’t want to divest themselves permanently of all their bits and pieces.
“Declutterers can pop their bits and pieces in storage so they aren’t lost forever,” Kylie says. “They can be kept until a time when ‘clutter’ re-emerges as the new fad.”
Storage King sells boxes, port-a-robes, bubble wrap and plastic covers – all those things needed when moving house or office. And the Hoppers Crossing team removes all the hassle of moving by helping with storage as well as the actual removal.
“Access to goods is easy and premises are secured at a high level,” Kylie says. “Customers can leave goods in storage for the short-term and long-term and be at peace that they’re safe.”
The Storage King brand emerged in 1998 and now has more than 150 stores in Australasia. Local facilities such as the Hoppers Crossing outlet have always shown a commitment to their communities by helping raise funds for different charities and sponsorships.
“We’re very much a local business,” explains Kylie. “We care about our community. Late last year, we were involved in the Garage Sale Trail and also donated $1 from every pink tea chest sold going to the McGrath Foundation, raising $1,800. We’ll continue to look for these sorts of opportunities to be involved in.”
