Point Cook College will hold its first Twilight Market on October 14, 3-7pm, at 18-50 Ponsford Drive. The market will feature an array of stalls, community groups, a kids’ fun zone, food vendors and entertainment. Free entry.
Zonta out west
The Zonta Club of Melbourne’s west provides opportunities to give back to the community, cultivate friendships, network, develop new skills, and work on projects and fundraising with members from diverse professional and social backgrounds. Zonta meets on the second Tuesday evening each month at Williamstown.

Werribee craft festival
The 38th Werribee Craft Festival will be held on November 5 and 6 at Wyndham Civic Centre, 45 Princes Highway, Werribee, 9am-4pm both days. Free admission and parking. Enjoy children’s craft activities, roving entertainment and Devonshire teas, as well as other tasty treats. There will be more than 80 stalls showcasing and selling top-class craft creations.

Teddy vet checks
These schools holidays, Werribee Open Range Zoo is offering teddy vet checks to its young visitors to the Ranger Kids compound each day between 11am and 3pm. Teddy vet checks are the perfect way to nurture children’s kindness for other beings, whether human, animal, or teddy bear.
Wyndham Eid Festival
The Wyndham Eid Festival is on at Presidents Park in Wyndham Vale, 9am-8pm, on October 1. This year’s festival will feature rides, children’s cultural performances and camel rides. The festival commemorates Eid al-Adha, a significant date on the Islamic calendar, translated as “festival of the sacrifice”.
Manor Lakes neighbourhood market
The Manor Lakes neighbourhood market is on at Wyndham Vale Community and Learning Centre on October 15 from 10am until 2pm. There will be more than 30 stalls on the day showcasing small local businesses.

Game, set, match
Werribee tennis club invites all those interested in social tennis – for all abilities – to come along to Chirnside Park, Watton Street, Werribee, on Thursdays from 7pm. Cost is $10.

Artful healing workshops
Bored? Need some creative inspiration? In Artful Healing workshops you will learn new artistic skills, socialise and express yourself in a supportive and friendly setting. The classes will start on October 6 and run every Thursday at the Wyndham Arts Incubator Hub, corner Watton Street and Duncans Road, Werribee, between 10am and noon.
