Santa’s little helpers: Hoppers Crossing is the place to go for a paw-fect Christmas photo with your pet.
Both Petbarn Hoppers Crossing and the Cat Napping Suburban Retreat will offer the chance for pet owners to get a festive-themed picture of their animal.
The Petbarn event will raise money for RSPCA Victoria, while Cat Napping will be raising funds for the Pancare Foundation.
RSPCA Victoria chief executive Dr Liz Walker said the ‘Santa Paws’ photos allowed families to pose with their pet and Mr Claus.
“All creatures are welcome, as long as the animals will be comfortable in the setting,” Dr Walker said.
Cat Napping owner Ebony Centazzo said her Santa photos for a Claus event would be for anyone who wanted to get a photo of their moggie with Santa in a cat environment.
The centre will give cat owners a photo in exchange for donations to Pancare Foundation in honour of Ms Centazzo’s father Eddie, who died of pancreatic cancer last Christmas.
“He lent me my start-up money for the business and then worked as the handy man until 20 days before he died,” she said.
The Petbarn photo sessions will be held from 10am-4pm on November 18 and 19. Visit rspcavic.org/events/santa-paws to book.
The Cat Napping event will be held on November 18. Bookings essential, call 8360 3313 for details.
