Cheese lovers will be in heaven when the Fromage a Trois Cheese Festival returns in March.

Held on the grounds of Werribee Park Mansion, the March 24 celebration will feature entertainment, live music, taste-tempting exhibitors – and lots and lots of cheese.

Festival-goers are being encouraged to build their own picnic hampers, selecting from local producers who will be showcasing a delicious array of food and beverages.

Wyndham tourism and major events portfolio holder Cr John Gibbons said he was looking forward to the event’s return.

“Held at one of our region’s best venues, the Werribee Park precinct, this event is a great opportunity to welcome both locals and people from across the state and country to Wyndham to discover some great matches, with cheese makers, winemakers and craft brewers all showcasing their produce,” Cr Gibbons said.

“This year we’re excited for a new partnership with the Pyrenees region, showcasing some of the best regional producers from Western Victoria.”

Festival features will include a grape stomp competition, master classes and demonstrations on the Chef Stage, mozzarella stretching and cheese-inspired ice-cream.
