The Office of the Public Advocate needs community visitor volunteers to help protect the human rights of people with disabilities by visiting accommodation centres, and monitoring and reporting on the services provided. Training and reimbursement of expenses are provided.

Thomastown Neighbourhood House has a variety of courses in term two. Barista training is on Mondays and Tuesdays, volunteer training and community events planning are on Thursdays. English as an additional language classes start Monday, April 24, and sewing classes start May 1.
