Let’s build language
A series of bilingual seminars will be held at the new Sunshine library on August 18, 2.30-4.30pm, and August 25, 1.30-3pm featuring Professor John Hajek from the University of Melbourne. The August 18 course is for service providers, while the August 25 course is for parents, grandparents and carers wanting to teach children more than one language. Community market day
The Lions Club of Taylors Lakes will host its first free community market day on November 20. Local artisans and producers are invited to book a stall. Stallholders must be from Taylors Lakes and surrounds. Stalls $25, payable on the day, 9am-3pm, at Taylors Creek Linear Park. Community groups can book a stall, no charge for non-profits.
